45 years of pride to share!

By subscribing to Échofab in the fall of 2024, the members of the Cercle de Fermières Cœur-de-l’Île de Montréal had no idea what awaited them in this new universe to explore. But where to begin...
To mark the 45th anniversary of our organization's founding, we were looking to offer our members and partners a promotional object that would highlight this anniversary year in a very special way.

Our reflection quickly led us to embark on the production of a graduated bookmark. From learning design software to manipulating the laser cutter, we were in for hours of fun! After a series of trial and error, we managed, with the support of our facilitator François, to produce a magnificent and practical object.

Our first creation in the FabLab was distributed on numerous occasions, each time generating astonishment and satisfaction from the recipients. It is therefore with a certain pride that we feel we have successfully taken our first steps into the world of digital fabrication.

Ideas are not lacking for what's next. We'll be back soon with other projects close to our hearts, to introduce young people to textile arts.
