Where are we?

Located in Montreal's Central District, the echofab is the first digital fabrication laboratory created as part of the Communautique digital fabrication site. Its aim is to increase exchanges, through concrete projects, between citizens, inventors, scientists and budding engineers. The lab explores and experiments with various approaches to digital fabrication, and has brought together a community of talented enthusiasts. It welcomes artists, researchers, start-ups and co-up companies in residence. It also welcomes young people in residencies designed to raise awareness of scientific and technical careers. It offers a multitude of workshops: modeling software, IoT, drone, 3D printer manufacturing.

How do I get there?

The nearest Bixi station is located at the corner of rue de l'Esplanade and rue Chabanel.

For the metro, we're just a few minutes' walk from Sauvé station on the orange line. Take the “Édicule Sud” exit and walk towards Boulevard St Laurent. By bus, bus 55 stops at the corner of Boulevard St Laurent / de Louvain.

Curbside parking is available, so be sure to check the signs. Several pay parking lots are available.
