This privacy statement applies to your use of the echoFab Web site. This statement confirms our commitment to the privacy of visitors to the site.

We use software that receives and records the Internet Protocol (IP) addresses of computers that communicate with the website. We make no attempt to link these addresses with the identity of individuals visiting the website.

Only general information, such as IP address and time of visit, is tracked. In addition, data on the pages consulted is collected and compiled. This information is only used internally and in collective form to manage the site, diagnose technical problems and improve content.

No personal information is collected electronically without the user's knowledge, and cookies installed on browsers are used for authentication and log-in purposes only. However, a temporary cookie is used to validate forms (letter of support for the Plateforme québécoise de l'Internet citoyen, membership form), required for the PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) browsing session; this temporary cookie, stored in RAM, is automatically deleted when the visitor leaves the site.

The user's personal information will not be made available to third parties or added to other information already available to us.

In accordance with the Act respecting access to documents held by public bodies and the protection of personal information (R.S.Q., a-2.1), users who communicate personal information via the Web site may request that this information be updated, corrected, consulted or removed from the consultation Web site, by sending an e-mail message to the following address: webmestre@échoFab.qc.ca indicating the information to be replaced, modified, deleted or consulted.
