45 years of pride to share!

By subscribing to Échofab in the fall of 2024, the members of the Cercle de Fermières Cœur-de-l’Île de Montréal had no idea what awaited them in this new universe to explore. But where to begin...
To mark the 45th anniversary of our organization's founding, we were looking to offer our members and partners a promotional object that would highlight this anniversary year in a very special way.

  • Un mini moi!

    A mini me!

3D printers have always intrigued me by their ability to transform digital objects into tangible creations. With this in mind, I wanted to take the experiment a step further by creating a miniature version of myself in the form of a pawn.

  • Création de luminaires

    Lighting design

Inspired by laser cutting, I gave free rein to my creativity to design unique lighting fixtures. After exploring some fifteen prototypes, I came up with a do-it-yourself model, designed to be both aesthetically pleasing and remarkably easy to assemble.

  • Exploration Laser

    Laser exploration

I'm lucky enough to have all the time in the world to explore and realize my dreams for my next show, in 2026.
At every fablab session, I test my limits with a medium that fascinates me, but whose subtleties and vagaries I'm still learning to tame.
Technically, I'm getting closer to mastering the process: although my interaction with the machine is still in the learning phase, my laser cutting is improving!
I feel welcomed in a versatile and generous workspace.

  • Préserver la nature

    Preserving nature

I was looking for a way to preserve and solidify the tree leaves I use in my textile explorations. In the course of my reading, I discovered that tree leaves could be solidified by macerating them in a mixture of glycerine and water for several days. So I chose a few leaves that I'd collected over the months, in preparation for winter. Then I took the plunge, under the watchful eye of Annie at Echo-Fab. Last week, I took the leaves out of the liquid, dried them in a towel, then hung them on the “clothesline” of the echo-Fab experiments. Already, the leaves are malleable and strengthened. I can't wait to incorporate them into my textile explorations!
